Together You Gave...
Over $50,000 has been raised since GivingTuesday!
Listen in as Executive Director, Leslie Naramore, talks with Mid-Columbia Today host Mark Bailey during a radio interview (starting at 35:40 on the recording) to share the news that WAGAP has met its goal to raise $50,000 to rebuild the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help support Klickitat and Skamania residents who have lost their job, or had a reduction in work hours due, to the economic impacts of the pandemic.
The original target was to raise the funds by December 31, but generous individual donations, including a $15,000 match opportunity from a local Lyle business, have replenished the fund back earlier than expected on December 16.
Mid-Columbia Today airs weekdays at 8:05 a.m. on AM 1340/98.3 FM KIHR in Hood River and Newsradio 1300/103.9 KACI in The Dalles. Mark Bailey and Jeff Skye are joined by newsmakers from around the Columbia River Gorge.
Contributions can still be made online at https://www.wagap.org/donate and donors are asked to designate the COVID-19 Relief Fund in the drop down. Donations by check should also have “COVID-19 Relief Fund” clearly marked on the memo line and can be accepted at your local WAGAP office in Stevenson, Bingen, or Goldendale during regular business hours. Because offices are closed to the public due to Safe Start orders, donors are asked to knock at the door. Donations can also be sent by mail to WAGAP at P.O. Box 805, Bingen, WA 98605.
